Learnt something new...

I learnt something during financial literacy course today: never take a car loan as the percentage charged will always be on the loan and not diminishing as you pay. House loan on the other hand is better as it will always be based on the outstanding. :)

Other than that, my colleagues told me that even if I didn't switch on my electrical appliances, electricity will still run when the switch at the plug is not switched off. Gosh!!! No wonder the utilities bills is so high last month. Now that I'm paying for that, I must be more conscious and start saving on electricity.

Side track: I feel pretty sad and helpless when I see my poor dog not being able to see or hear me well. I called her jus now and just lifted her head and tried to sense where I was calling her from. Even when something was very near to her, she couldn't see or react until the thing is moving in front of her. I think it will be a terrible season when she gets weaker and weaker and dies in front of me. :( I hope that day will not come so soon.

Interaction with pupils...

I love interacting with pupils. I find them really cute and nice to talk to sometimes (esp those who positive and enthusiastic). I told my netball girls to write journals to tell me how they feel about each session or what they had learnt. I enjoy the process of reading through what they write and commenting on them. Every week, I look forward to read those who really wrote from the bottom of their heart. As for those who refused to hand it in to, I'm giving up on them.

Since journal writing is my way of reaching out to them as a "friend" and they don't want me to be their friend, I shall not hard up to be their friend.

In my class, I have a few naughty boys. One of them forgot to bring his files last week. I called his mum and he cried while he spoke to his mum. My heart melted. I didn't expect him to cry at all. Then I told him to write in his handbook that he had to bring his files the next day. I also told him to bring some red packets to decorate the classroom. The funny part of this story is, he said he did not need reminders to bring the red packets as he could remember to bring them. See the priority and cute side of kids? And he did a wonderful job with a few other classmates to do up the door. Even their classmates commented that it was very nice... according to kids standard. Not too bad! I shall take some pictures and upload it here soon.

I am thankful to God for those lovely pupils who always touch my heart with what they wrote and their actions. Although some of my pupils are really mischievous, I always melt when they still bid goodbye to me even after a scolding from me. Those were the motivations that got me to work hard every single day.

Lack of motivation to work..

I think I had been too busy until I'm so lazy to do anymore work. Haven't really done anything this entire day. I'm just slacking here, watching tv and facebooking. And very quickly, it's 11.30pm!! Time to sleep again.

Anyway, I learnt how to do a 3 point turn and U-turn today. I was so stressed that I went very slow even on normal straight road and was told to speed up. I love my driving lessons even though it is pretty stressful on the road. There is always a sense of achievement.
